Children of various ages will find a celebration at the Museum to be fun and filled with activity. Let us help you enjoy the day!

Early Childhood Party
For children 1 - 5, Creation Station at the Museum of Transportation is a perfect place to celebrate your child's big day! Your private party host/hostess will organize each detail to ensure your event runs smoothly. Parties include 90 minutes of exclusive Creation Station playtime, museum admissions, a helium balloon for each child, snack sacks, party bags, a special gift for the birthday child, and all paper products.

Parties can be scheduled on Saturdays at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm and on
Sundays at 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm.

Please reserve your date and time by making a deposit online. Your birthday party is confirmed when you receive a reply email from us. Make a reservation

• $175 for 10 children ($150 for TMA members).
• $15 for each additional child with reservation, $20 for each additional child without reservation.
  
• You provide the cake, cupcakes, or cookies - we take care of the rest!
  
• Maximum of 40 guests. Sorry, no exceptions!
  
• $75 non-refundable deposit reserves your party date and time.
  
• Party fee is based on guest reservations and is due the Wednesday before the upcoming party.
  
• 10 invitations and thank you cards are included. Additional cards are $.50 each.
  
• Optional $25 train ride fee for the entire party - based on seasonal availability.
  
• Soda available for adult guests - $5 for pitcher.

Conductor's Club
Conductor for the Day: An exciting way to spend a special day! Your child or grandchild can be the miniature train "Honorary Conductor" for the day.

On their special day, your child will receive a conductor gift box, which contains a bandana, a train whistle, four museum tickets and a museum coloring book. On their designated day, their name will appear on the museum marquee as the Honorary Conductor; they will greet guests from the front seat of the tram; help the train engineer check tickets; and yell "All Aboard" each time the train leaves the station during their one hour work shift.

When they depart, they will take home a signed picture of the train crew and a Conductor's Club Certificate. The memories are priceless; the cost is $125.

Additional Details

• Let us do all the work! You provide the birthday cake, cupcakes or cookies and we'll take care of everything else!
  
• We do request that there is one adult for every five children.
  
• No Piñatas!
  
• If a party is larger than the maximum number or if you would like additional food, the party has become a facility rental. See the facility rental page.
  
• Final reservation count is due on the Wednesday before the upcoming party. Your final payment will be charged on that day based on the reservation count you provide. You will be charged $20 for each guest that attends party without a reservation. If fewer children show up for party, no refunds will be given. If you fail to call with final reservation count, you will be charged for a party of 10 and $20 per additional guest.
  
• Additional items will be billed day of party and must be paid in the gift shop including extra children, train ride and/or adult beverages.
