Public Tours

Public guided tours are available on days of operation according to season and on Sundays.

Winter, Spring, and Fall tours
are available on days that we are open at 10:00 am and on Sundays at 1:00 pm.

Summer tours
are available Monday-Saturday at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, and on Sundays at 1:00 pm.

No reservation needed!

Group Tours

Private Group Tours
Receive group admission rates and an assigned guide to meet your group's needs. Private tours include some passenger rail cars that are not open to the general public.

The non-refundable fee for a private tour guide is $25 in addition to group admission fees. Tours are one hour. Tours can be reserved to fit your schedule. First tour can be scheduled as early as 9:15 am (11:15 am on Sunday), last tour at 2:45 pm. There is a maximum of 35 guests per tour guide. All fees are due when making reservations.

Your group may ride the trolley and miniature railroad for an additional fee if your tour is scheduled during their seasonal operation times. Courtesy picnic tables are also available for use.

Summer Visits for Children's Groups
Come visit the museum during the lazy days of June, July and August! Summer friends will receive a private children's tour and miniature train ride. The tours are outside so wear comfotable clothing and sturdy shoes. Our grounds are large and everyone will get lots of exercise as they explore transportation history with their private tour guide.

To receive discounted group rates, reservations and full payment must be made at least two weeks in advance. Admission stickers will be mailed with your confirmation letter when payment is received. Every person visiting with your group must be wearing an admission sticker - NO EXCEPTIONS

• $6.00 per person
• One adult teacher or chaperone per every ten children is requested
• Each tour guide can accommodate 25 children
• Picnic areas are available for snacks or lunch
