Reservations required. Classes subject to cancellation if minimum of 10 scouts per class is not met. You will be contacted in the event of cancellation.
Earn
the "It's Your Story – Tell It!"
Inventors Badge.
Become an inventor like Mary Anderson, inventor of the windshield wiper, and Martha Coston, inventor of the Coston Flare. Girls will explore the processs of becoming an inventor and earn their Inventor Badge.
- 1st Saturdays in March, May, October & November at 9 and 10:30 am
- 22 scouts per class
- 45–60 minute class
- $20.00 class fee per scouting group plus group admission to the museum ($3.00 per scout, $4.00 per adult - 2 leaders free)
- $3.00 discounted admission for siblings at time of reservation (may not attend class)
- Discounted train stickers for scouts, siblings and adults available at time of the original reservation during seasonal operation.

Travel Case
Introduce girls to requirements for the "It's Your Story – Tell It!" Making Games Badge.
Girls will engage in:
- Estimation
- Multiplication
- Measurement
- Addition & Subtraction
- Using directional signs
- Reading a map
- Visiting a National Registry Site
- Observing historical automobiles, steam engines, electric streetcars & other modes of transportation used for traveling (past and present)
Fees & Payment Policy
Full payment required at time of reservation. Discounted train & trolley ride tickets may be purchased when making original reservation during seasonal operation. Group admission tickets ($3.00) may be purchased for siblings at time of reservation (but they may not attend class).
If you purchase additional train or trolley tickets, but cannot use them due to inclement weather or mechanical difficulty the day of your visit, you may request a voucher that includes free admission for a later date. Call 314-968-6885 ext. 5 after your visit to request vouchers.
