Private Scouting Classes

All of our boy and girl scouting classes can be scheduled privately through the museum Education Department at 314-965-688 ext 5.

Please note that leaving a message does not confirm a reservation.

• Minimum of 10 scouts and a maximum of 22 scouts per class
• 45–60 minute class
• $3.00 per scout
• 2 complimentary admissions for leaders, $4.00 per additional adult (does not apply to the Railroad Merit Badge)
• $25.00 class fee
• Full payment due when making the reservation.
• The museum may not be able to schedule your first choice date
• Make sure to allow enough travel time and schedule appropriately, groups arriving late will receive a shortened program
• Exploration of the museum before or after your scheduled time is permitted during museum open hours
• There is no charge for parking
• Picnic areas are available for lunch or snacks
• Scouts may purchase discounted train & trolley ride stickers when making original reservation during seasonal operation.

Fees & Payment Policy

Full payment required at time of reservation. Discounted train & trolley ride tickets may be purchased when making original reservation during seasonal operation. Group admission tickets ($3.00) may be purchased for siblings at time of reservation (but they may not attend class).

If you purchase additional train or trolley tickets, but cannot use them due to inclement weather or mechanical difficulty the day of your visit, you may request a voucher that includes free admission for a later date. Call 314-968-6885 ext 5. after your visit to request vouchers.
