Mad Science

Mad Science of St. Louis at the Museum of Transportation- Reservations required.
- Full payment required at time of reservation.
- Classes subject to cancellation if minimum of 10 scouts per class is not met.
- You will be contacted in the event of cancellation.
- Prices include class fee, museum admission and miniature train ride.

Scouting Science Workshops at the Musuem of Transportation

Brownie Girl Scouts Home Scientist Badge (Change-It group)
The girls will participate in experiments and demonstrations which will fulfill step 1 of the badge requirements. 1. Crystal Formation

Webelos Boy Scouts Scientist Badge (Technology group)
The boys will complete all of the following experiments and demonstrations to complete the requirements for this badge.

  1. Bernoulli's Principle: Under Pressure
  2. Newton's Laws of Motion: Rocket Demo, Rockin' Rockets & Aerodynamics
    (Camp Week 4), Forces
  3. Air Pressure: Under Pressure
  4. Crystal Formation: Che-Mystery
  5. Center of Gravity: Forces, Great Gravity
  6. Optical Illusions: Optical Illusions
  7. Fog: Walloping Weather

Tiger, Bear and Wolf Scouts
The boys will earn the Academic Science Belt Loop.
